3D scanning

We scan large parts – from a few tens of centimetres to several metres.

With a handheld Shining 3D scanner we digitise car and motorcycle body parts, boat hulls, machine covers and other large objects for which there are no drawings or 3D models.

The result of the scan is a 3D model in STL format. We deliver it as is, or use it straight away for:

• 3D printing a copy of the part,
• reverse engineering – building a CAD model and modifying the geometry.

We scan in our workshop in Jindřichův Hradec, Czechia, or we come to you – large and heavy parts do not need to be transported.

What we offer:

• Data processing: mesh clean-up, filling missing areas, alignment to a coordinate system
• Delivery of the 3D model in STL format

How it works: describe the part, its size, where it is and what you need the scan for. We’ll agree whether you bring the part to us or we come to you. After scanning and processing we hand over the 3D model, or continue with it as agreed.
